Towing Options

While flatbed towing remains the most popular and commonly utilized option, we also offer a range of alternative choices. If you have specific preferences regarding the type of tow truck, please feel free to request it. In most cases, we strive to accommodate such requests, particularly if you have a specialty vehicle or require a unique type of tow, provided that it is scheduled in advance. However, please note that unless otherwise specified, flatbed towing is generally considered the optimal choice. Regardless of the reason for the tow, Antelope Towing is always ready to come to your aid. Our excellent services encompass various types of tow trucks and towing accessories, ensuring that we have the necessary tools to assist you effectively

In our fleet, we still maintain a few hook and chain tow trucks, which were previously a common choice for towing. If you specifically require this type of truck, please inform us, and we will accommodate your request. The hook and chain tow truck typically utilizes chains to lift either the front or rear axle of the vehicle, allowing it to be towed. In this towing method, either the front or rear wheels of the towed vehicle remain in contact with the pavement.

We also offer wheel-lift tow trucks as an alternative. These trucks provide a middle ground between flatbed and hook and chain tow trucks. They are smaller, making maneuvering easier, and they offer the option to lift the vehicle completely off the ground, eliminating the need for the vehicle's wheels to touch the street while being towed. We can provide a dolly to support the end of the car that is not lifted, ensuring the vehicle remains off the street throughout the towing process.

These are the primary options available for basic towing needs. The majority of local tow requests can be easily accommodated by these options. Whenever we receive a call for a tow, we promptly dispatch one of these tow trucks to assist you. Additionally, we have a few other specialized tow trucks available, primarily upon request. These trucks are mainly used for specialty cars or rare circumstances that require alternative solutions. Our fleet includes heavy-duty tow trucks, off-road tow trucks, and boom trucks.

Each of these vehicles serves a specific purpose, offering greater power and capabilities when needed. Heavy-duty trucks are designed to handle the towing of exceptionally large and heavy vehicles like buses or commercial trucks, with robust construction to manage the immense weight. Off-road trucks feature four-wheel drive, raised suspension, and specialized equipment, primarily used for traversing mountainous terrains and tackling challenging conditions such as deep snow, sand, or mud.

Boom trucks, while less commonly used for towing, are versatile vehicles equipped with hydraulic arms capable of lifting heavy and immovable objects. They may come into play in unique situations such as the aftermath of severe accidents where vehicles are extensively damaged. Rest assured, whatever your towing requirements may be, we have the necessary vehicles and expertise to get the job done efficiently and effectively.
